WHAT
Generative Art refers to art that in whole or in part has been created with the use of an autonomous system – generally one that is non-human and can independently determine features of an artwork that would otherwise require decisions made directly by the artist. Curated by Luba Elliott, Wai Lung Ip, and Peter Yu, the exhibition showcases the digital works of 11 women who are AI generative artists. The purpose of the curation is to hopefully expand the imagination of Generative Art through artistic expressions and technologies.

WHY
The exhibition is a perfect integration of technology within art. With two categories of artists – those with a background in computer science interested in art, and artists who have chosen the medium of technology and computers – the presentation is also women-focussed. The online and offline guided tours are perfect for those interested in learning more about and experiencing Generative Art.
