WHAT
The German photographer (b.1954) is best known for his Museum Photographs series, black and white photographs ofthe streets of Düsseldorf and New York taken in the 1970s, and his family photographs series. The exhibition includes photographs taken at CERN and the Leibniz Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research, which include large-scale panoramic photographs of CERN’s monumental scientific structures and smaller-scale images of intricate mechanisms and remnants of technological discovery.
