WHAT
This exhibition features five artists with different styles under the theme of ‘soundless’ to interpret this Zen aesthetic. The collection on display comprises 23 pieces, including watercolour, ceramics, acrylic, and mixed media. Artists include Chen Huishan, Chen Yingqing, Zhang Yuny, Zhao Yingzhuang, and Liu Huiwen.

WHY
The artists’ interpretation of ‘soundless’ is profound, and they use their art to express the essence of incomplete and impermanent beauty that is found in simplicity, silence, and nature. This kind of beauty is precious and can only be understood in silence, as it radiates its brilliance only after years of being refined. Through their art, the artists invite us to contemplate the beauty in the stillness and embrace the tranquillity of existence.
