WHAT
Born in Syria and based in Paris for the past 40 years, Dalloul is known as one of the most accomplished artists from the Arab world. In his debut Hong Kong solo exhibition, he presents a number of almost life-sized paintings that depict the interactions between humans and nature. He captures the essence of humanity by showcasing the marks they leave behind, hoping to inspire audiences to confront the fleeting beauty of life that comes from the dynamic between nature and humanity.

The artist’s career has been vast and the past two decades have been dedicated to focusing on the intricacies of humanity’s interactions with nature. Through his fluid strokes and vivid hues, he hopes to successfully depict human experiences that everyone in the audience can relate to: birth, death, wisdom, youth, celebration, passage.
