WHAT WE KNOW
Andrew Luk and Samuel Swope are both Hong Kong-based artists who create multi-media works that defy traditional conventions of art. In particular, Luk examines the relationship between human civilisation, history, and technological advances through time, frequently engaging sculpture, video art and games, as well as installations. On the other hand, Swope is most known for his work in aerial art and aesthetic systems, which merge multiple media and engineering practices.
WHY WE LOVE IT
Who wouldn’t be interested in drone racing? Exploring the history and future of architecture as well as humanity’s relationship to speed and technological progress, this exhibition is a must for all techies – Luk and Swope teamed up to create sculptural and multi-media installations that collectively form a sprawling drone racecourse.
