A series of photographs featuring Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, the late Queen Elizabeth, are showcased at the Main Bar of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club. All photos were taken by Agence France-Presse and the SCMP.

WHY
The much-revered late Queen Elizabeth was queen regnant of thirty-two sovereign states during her lifetime, and fifteen at the time of her death. Her reign of 70 years and 214 days is the longest of any British monarch and the longest verified reign of any female sovereign in history. The photographs are not only historical but also significant and reveal different sides of her.
