WHO
Various artists
WHAT
As a prelude to the highly-anticipated opening of The Henderson building in Fall 2024, the exhibition embraces the explosive, interplay of fluid form and light characteristic of Zaha Hadid’s artwork and space design, and found at the heart of ZHA’s design for The Henderson. The exhibition focuses on ‘light’ as a medium with which to illuminate redefined perceptions of everyday life, memory and identity. The works by the 8 women artists act as a transporter for journeys of reimagining, which reflect and refract courage and craftsmanship in artistic creativity.
WHY
Presented as part of the Henderson Art@Central programme, which runs through March, the exhibition is curated by HART director, Vera Lam. It is supported by Women in Lighting, which is an inspirational and global digital platform that profiles women working in the field of lighting and lighting design.
