WHAT
Following her successful debut exhibition ‘Der Albtraum der Bienenkönigin’ at the gallery’s Shanghai space, this is the German artist’s (b.1994) first solo show at the gallery’s Hong Kong venue. The presentation features her latest series of paintings – family portraits. Combining varying visual narratives and isolating individual pictorial elements, she presents new narratives that offer fresh perspectives.

The artist’s works are deeply intertwined with her immediate surroundings, focusing on specific psychological states and nuanced interpersonal relationships. Drawing inspiration from her family photo archives, she weaves together different segments of pictorial histories. Intrigued by contradictions and ambiguities, she aims to capture emotional integrity.
