WHAT
This is the 5th edition of the fair, with over 80 local and international artists, publishers, organisations, and booksellers participating. The fair includes special displays by Hong Kong photographer Kurt Tong, Swiss independent publishing house Nieves, and French publisher onestar press/Three Star Books, along with a wide range of talks, workshops, and performances. This edition of the fair also launches ‘Sounds Like Print’ – 28 April to November 2023 – a special project that explores the intersection of sound and print.

WHY
The ‘Sounds Like Print’ project launches with a special display of sound art and experimental music primarily from the Mainland, on loan from the archive of Hong Kong-based curator and scholar, Dr. Edward Sanderson. Other artworks by Samson Young, Dave Muller and mmmmor studio are set among the Artists’ Book Library. The fair, along with the launch of the auditory project, is a must-see for Hong Kong art and book lovers.
