WHAT
The exhibition is a showcase of photographs from the students from Holy Trinity College, Munsang College, Ning Po No. 2 College, Salesians of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School, and Yan Chai Hospital Wong Wha San Secondary School. The group of students completed a month-long internship programme in which they learnt to take and edit photos while building a curatorial narrative, as well as getting to know about gallery operations. The works trace the footprints of their field trips around Hong Kong, showing this generation’s unique perspective of the city.

WHY
The exhibition is built around three core themes: Transformation & Time, The Unnoticed, and Stillness & Movement. The first group of images displays how slow and fast transformations affect the city, while bringing to light the contrast between the old and the new. In the second group, the significance of overlooked aspects of our fast-paced lives is emphasised. Finally, the third group of images highlights the constant movement of all things – even if they are physically stationary. Through these themes, the young artists allow audiences to see Hong Kong from this generation’s point of view.
