Art in Ink Festival 2022

December 17, 2022 - December 30, 2022

WHAT
The inaugural festival at the Palace Academy of the Hong Kong Palace Museum brings a unique and versatile experience of Chinese ink art to audiences, offering an Augmented Reality interactive experience, panel discussions, documentary screenings, art workshops and pop-up art stalls. The festival features an extensive programme line-up that enables visitors to indulge in a holistic Chinese ink art atmosphere and to be inspired by the dynamic interpretations of the medium. Besides the immersive 3D-mapping video as well as the Augmented Reality interactive zone at the foyer, one key highlight is the screening of ‘Unsung Heroes of Ink’, the debut film by art specialist Olivia Wang, which documents the role of xuan paper in Chinese ink painting.
