Odysseys of Art: Masterpieces Collected by the Princes of Liechtenstein
WHAT
The prestigious collections of the Princes of Liechtenstein were formed over the last four centuries. They rank among the largest and most important private art collections in the world. Presenting over one hundred masterpieces from the Princely Collections, the exhibition revisits the most significant moments that have shaped the Collections from the seventeenth century up to the present day. This exhibition is jointly organised by the Liechtenstein Princely Collections, and is presented in Gallery 8.

WHY
One of the most prestigious art collections in the world as well as one of the most private, the unique exhibition highlights almost forty important European masterpieces by two of the most important European painters of the Baroque period – Peter Paul Rubens (1577–1640) and Anthony van Dyck (1599–1641). With such important names, this is a rare opportunity for Hong Kong audiences.
