WHAT
Art Basel Paris, set for the first time at the iconic newly-renovated Grand Palais, aims to connect with France’s rich cultural scene, becoming a city-wide celebration deeply rooted in Parisian heritage. Featuring 195 galleries from 42 regions, the fair will be structured across 3 exhibition sectors: ‘Galeries’ is where exhibitors present the full breadth of their programmes; ‘Emergence’ is dedicated to emerging galleries and artists; and the newly-introduced ‘Premise’ features 9 galleries presenting highly-singular curatorial proposals that may include work made before 1900.
