WHAT
The French artist (b. 1987) is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, and mainly works with drawing, animation, and installation. She is known for weaving together two different worlds of existence in her art – fiction and nonfiction. The debut solo exhibition features 20 latest watercolour creations by the artist, including several large-format works, showcasing how the artist transcends all forms of life and weaves them into an other-worldly dreamscape.

WHY
The artworks display myriad details and patterns that create a ‘fluidity’ with a centripetal force, where all the colourful strokes mix together to suggest boundless possibilities. The attention that the artist invests in her works is reminiscent of that used to create miniatures – with details and patterns galore, a mixture of precision and stylisation, of repetition and variety. Viewers might find themselves pleasantly lost in her delicate fantastical landscapes.
