WHAT
The American cartoonist and animator (b.1994) is known for his humorous illustrations and animations that often touch on social and political issues. As the artist’s first solo exhibition worldwide, the immersive colourful cyber presentation is divided into four ‘amusement park’ themed chapters, with 43 representative animation works produced since 2017. Meanwhile, several short films and manuscripts are also on display. The quadruple exhibition space is themed on the artist’s creative process and artistic growth, filled with high-saturation neon colours, combined with cute animated characters to bring the most intuitive visual art impact.

WHY
The American animation artist – also known as Coolman Coffeedan – is an influencer with tens of millions of admirers worldwide, who gained a following for his works on BuzzFeed and CollegeHumor, before launching his own webcomic and animation series, ‘Awkward Everything’. His work is characterised by its playful and irreverent style. Considered one of the most exciting young voices in cartooning and animation, the exhibition is a visually-stimulating experience for all audiences alike.
