It’s 10 Chancery Lane Gallery’s 20th anniversary!

The gallery opened its doors in 2001 with its inaugural exhibition of sculptures by Wang Keping, and has not looked back since. For this milestone exhibition, the gallery presents 44 artists who embody the gallery’s core mission and enduring anchors, as well as its visions for the future. Exhibition artists range from the key players of the STARS movement, such as Huang Rui, Ma Desheng, and Wang Keping, to artists from Southeast Asia such as Tuan Andrew Nguyen, Htein Lin, and Bui Cong Khanh, to acclaimed Indian artist Atul Dodiya and Hong Kong’s own iconic Frog King.

WHY

“The ‘Love in the Dream’ exhibition is truly a love story to reflect 20 years of passion and connection through art. Art is made by one soul, and a gallery is there to make the dreams come true for the artist, to connect their work with other souls,” states gallery founder, Katie de Tilly, a true visionary who has watched the evolution and development of the artists she has worked with in awe. For this milestone exhibition, the gallery has been specially constructed with a new layout of walls, allowing visitors the unique experience of walking through the exhibition as if journeying with the different artists.
